Michele Pellegrini presents his book *“Gli attimi, non i giorni”*
About the Event
A journey through memory, the soul and the mountain peaks. An event dedicated to those who love to walk, both within and beyond themselves.
Michele Pellegrini presents his book “Moments, not days. Life, trails and mountains”, a work in which personal experience intertwines with the deep, wild call of the mountains.
The first part recounts the journey of an unusual, ordinary man: from a childhood spent between wonder and wounds, through the stumbles and dreams of youth, to adulthood, when it becomes possible to name one’s fears and recognise one’s strengths. An intimate and authentic story, in which everyone can find a memory, a difficult choice or that hesitant step towards what truly matters.
The second part takes the reader along a series of Alpine routes, recounted through the eyes of someone who has walked amongst rocks, woods and wind. Not merely guidebooks, but experiences of travel, emotion and discovery: ridges that teach courage, ancient silences and paths capable of leading towards a more authentic version of oneself.
The author
Born in 1981 and raised in a village on the southern outskirts of Milan, Michele Pellegrini is a scholar of medieval history and religious minorities. After years of academic research, he chose to devote himself to teaching at a vocational training centre.
A mountain enthusiast since childhood, he discovered trail running in his late teens. He has completed several endurance races, including the Tor des Géants, and has trekked most of the trails in the Orobie Alps on his own.
“Moments, not days” marks his debut in fiction, following several historical publications.
A fusion of literature, life and the mountains, to rediscover the value of those moments that truly leave their mark.
